We have over 30 years experience offering reindeer rides and activities. What's included? The farm visit includes a one kilometre reindeer ride on the Kiepahus trail through the farm and forest. Enjoy feeding the reindeer, take some photos and listen to stories of life with the reindeer of Lapland. Included are warm drinks inside the old inn. Min. 2 adults as participants. Located on the banks of the Ounas River, the main house was used as an inn for over 200 years accommodating people as they travelled through the Arctic regions. River Ounas was an important route between Northern and Southern Lapland. People would traditionally travel with reindeer sleigh or a horse sledge. We have developed the services that we have today by respecting nature and ancient culture of reindeer herding. . You’re more than welcome to visit us! |
Cancellation policy
Cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before event.
Cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 21 days or less before event.
Cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before event.
NB! Bookings for the reindeer farm can only be made online at the latest 7 days prior to the activity day. If you would be interested in making a booking later than that, or if your preferred day is not available in the booking calendar, then we kindly ask you to get in touch directly with the activity provider by email. Please also note that transfers are never included in these late, or alternative, bookings. Therefore, in case you would need to book the transfers as well, then you will have to arrange it by yourself, or we can arrange pre-booked taxis on your behalf for a set price.
